Greynola Payouts | When & How Creators Get Paid

· Points & Rewards

A complete guide to understanding when and how you receive your earnings from Greynola.

Getting paid on Greynola involves two separate systems — Creator Share distributions and Prize Pool winnings — each with its own schedule and process. Understanding the timelines and mechanics of both ensures you know exactly when to expect your earnings and how they will be delivered.

Creator Share Payout Schedule

Creator Share distributions follow a monthly cycle. The calculation period runs from the first to the last day of each calendar month. All approved submissions received by your missions during that period count toward your monthly share.

At the end of the month, the Greynola team calculates each qualifying mission creator's share of the pool based on their proportion of total approved submissions. This calculation typically takes one to three business days after the month closes.

Distributions are then processed and sent out within the first week of the following month. So your April Creator Share — based on submissions received throughout April — is distributed in the first week of May. Your May share is distributed in the first week of June, and so on.

This predictable monthly cadence allows you to plan around your Greynola income. You can track your mission submissions throughout the month and estimate your upcoming distribution based on your activity.

Prize Pool Prize Delivery

Prize Pool draws happen on a schedule announced through the platform. When a draw occurs, winners are selected based on their ticket holdings and notified through the Greynola notification system.

Cash prizes are processed through supported payment platforms and delivered according to the same international payment infrastructure used for Creator Share distributions. Physical prizes — tech equipment, merchandise, and other tangible rewards — are shipped to the winner's address.

Winners are contacted directly after the draw to confirm their details and preferred delivery method. Greynola aims to fulfill all Prize Pool prizes within two to four weeks of the draw date, though physical shipping timelines may vary by location.

Payment Methods and Setup

To receive payouts, you need to configure your payment settings in your Greynola account. The platform supports multiple payment methods to accommodate creators worldwide.

Your payout settings include your preferred payment method, payout email or address, and any required tax documentation. Setting up your payout information in advance ensures that when you qualify for a distribution or win a prize, your payment can be processed without delay.

Greynola does not take a percentage cut from creator payouts. When your Creator Share distribution is $200, you receive $200. When you win a $500 Prize Pool prize, you receive $500. The platform's revenue comes from filmmaker and studio campaign fees, not from creator earnings.

Minimum Thresholds

Creator Share distributions have qualification thresholds — three active missions and fifteen approved submissions — but there is no minimum dollar amount for payouts. If you qualify for Creator Share, you receive your distribution regardless of its size.

Prize Pool prizes have no thresholds beyond having at least one ticket (1,000 cumulative points). If you are in the ticket pool and your ticket is drawn, you win — regardless of how many tickets you hold.

The platform is designed to make earning accessible and payout delivery reliable. The goal is to ensure that every creator who contributes quality content to the platform receives fair compensation with minimal friction.
