Understanding the account deletion process and what happens to your data.

You can request account deletion at any time through your account settings or by contacting the Greynola team directly through the Contact page. The platform respects your right to control your data and provides a straightforward process for removing your account and associated information.

How to Request Deletion

There are two ways to initiate account deletion. The first is through your account settings within the platform. Navigate to your account page and look for the account deletion option. This sends a deletion request directly to the Greynola team.

The second is by contacting us through the Contact page and requesting deletion manually. Include the email address associated with your account so we can locate and verify your account before processing the request.

In both cases, the Greynola team processes the deletion request and confirms when your account has been removed. The process is designed to be as simple and frictionless as possible.

What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, all personal data associated with your account is removed in accordance with the Greynola Privacy Policy. This includes your profile information, email address, payout settings, and account credentials.

Your submission history, points record, and leaderboard data are removed from public-facing displays. The platform does not retain your personal information after deletion.

Any active missions you created will be handled as part of the deletion process. The Greynola team will work with you to ensure a clean transition if you have active missions with pending submissions.

Before You Delete

Before requesting deletion, consider a few things. If you have pending Creator Share distributions or unclaimed Prize Pool prizes, ensure those are resolved before deletion. Once your account is removed, it may not be possible to process pending payouts.

Account deletion is permanent. Your points, your leaderboard ranking, your submission history, and your mission portfolio cannot be recovered after deletion. If you are considering taking a break rather than leaving permanently, you can simply stop using the platform โ€” your account will remain intact with all your data preserved.

If your reason for deletion is a specific issue โ€” a technical problem, a disagreement about a score, a concern about privacy โ€” consider contacting us first. Many issues can be resolved without deleting your account.

Data and Privacy

Greynola takes data privacy seriously. The deletion process is designed to comply with applicable data protection regulations, including provisions for the right to be forgotten.

After deletion, Greynola does not retain your personal data for marketing, analytics, or any other purpose. Anonymized, aggregate data that cannot be traced back to you may be retained for platform analytics, but no personally identifiable information survives the deletion process.
